Abstract
American minimalist composer, multimedia and performance artist Charlemagne Palestine comes from Brooklyn, New York to perform his widely celebrated piece 'Strumming, for Bösendorfer piano' at the Dunn Theatre in the Dalhousie Arts Centre. He dedicates this performance to his brother who died only a few days before this recording.
Description
6/3/1975; Ampex reel, 3 3/4 ips., 2 track stereo. The sound of the tape sticking to the tape-head which occurs near the end of the reel is on the recording itself and not a result of playback.
