Abstract

In this lecture Luc Van Malderen continues his discussion on indicativity, as well as signification. Van Malderen uses the example of cartography (mapping process’s) to explain how we connect visual signifiers to objects. He continues on to tie this to how we connect color and objects, using the example of the colour orange and the fruit orange.
