Abstract
Insomnia is generally defined as continuous poor sleep quality. This can produce a variety of conditions, such as pathological physiological disorders. Most patients need medication and other forms of adjunctive therapy to help alleviate the symptoms of insomnia. However, long-term treatments may increase the risk of other diseases in older patients. Therefore, helping older insomniacs alleviate insomnia and improve their sleep quality is a significant challenge. This paper proposes a design scheme for assisting elderly insomniacs. Obtain better sleep. The goal of the project is to identify design opportunities which re-imagine an experience that helps elders improve their sleep quality and achieve healthy sleep from the perspective of emotional needs.
