Abstract

In this lecture Anthony Mann explains the fine art origins of the New Typography. He discusses asymmetric type, using type to create an image, and non normative design type layout. Mann also discusses Futurism, Dadaism, and the integration of photography into graphic design and modern art. This is part 1 of lecture 14.
