Abstract

In this lecture Anthony Mann discusses the emergence of the “art director” and the terminology of graphic design. Mann goes through different slides explaining the different elements of each image and where they come from historically. He also talks about the creation of the chapbook, and different aesthetics pertaining to different publishing mediums. This is part 1 of lecture 8.
